Halloween!

This year was MUCH different than last year's Halloween. Last year, Tripp was scared of all the adults in costumes. He would scream and practically climb up the nearest parent to get away from the friendly costumed folks. This year, no fear! He did have a couple of unsure moments and took the initiative to simply walk around the masks or costumes he did not like....but no screaming! We got to enjoy the spooktacular holiday!

It all started Friday morning at daycare....

Daycare Halloween

Hunter, Lukas & Tripp

...then it was time to get changed into outside play clothes. But first, Dance!
Saturday Night Fever

While Tripp went to daycare in costume, I went to work in costume

Zombie Housewife

Halloween Field Trip!

On Friday Oct, 30
I took 62 students to a local corn maze, to create horror movies.

That's 62 students, in costumes, running around a corn maze with video equipment and squirt bottles full of fake blood! It was a creative success!!

Later that night, we went to friends Rob & Christina's Halloween Party. So I put us back in our pirate costumes and Bob grabbed his hatchet hat from last year...and off we went!

To the Queen of Hearts & the Mad Hatter's Tea Party!

We danced all night to SEED

Passed out around the campfire

On Halloween we went to the Downtown Willimantic Town Trick or Treat.
A great community event!

The town business owner come out and hand out candy.

The Local Theatre Guild had a Haunted House, with this scene out front.

Trick or Treating with Best Buddy Lukas

Ready for the Flashlight Egg Hunt
The kids line up, equipt with flaslights and candy buckets.
They blow the air horn; and it's a race to see who can get the most candy! 3000 pieces of candy and orange & black candy filled eggs onto the town lawn for the kids to find.

We almost filled his bucket!

Neighbors - Jimmy, RJ & Mary

Trick or Treat Friends

The boys enjoyed handing out candy. We ran out of candy fast....the boys were very generous with their handfuls.....that god for that rain storm...we almost had to start handing out OUR candy stash!

So Excited!

The rain stopped &
Bed time for Tripp = fire time for us
Buddy Scott (from Arkansas) visits from his home in Rhode Island

Ron & Dallas stop by and it starts to rain

Chillin under the canopy, with a fire, in a rain storm

Stay tuned for videos.
